Performing Arts
The Performing Arts program seeks to encourage the broadest possible range of creative options for its students. We have a solid tradition of high-quality education and strive for excellence in every endeavor. We offer a variety of ensembles that study classical repertoire, world music, and jazz and contemporary music. The Drama Department offers a range of classes that study classical theatre, contemporary styles, and technical aspects of production.
Desert Ridge Bands
Desert Ridge High Band Ensembles includes Varsity Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band Red, Jazz Band Black, Percussion, and Winter Guard.
DRHS Choirs
All choirs focus on vocal technique, sight-reading using solfege, and musical knowledge. DRHS Choirs includes Advanced Vocal Ensemble, Advanced Women's Chorale, and Concert Chorale.
DRHS Orchestra
Desert Ridge High School Orchestra Program includes 9th-12th grade Strolling Strings Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and 10th-12th grade Symphonic Strings.
