SCHOLARSHIP TIPS
-Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) early! Applications are available  October 1 each year.
-Supplemental Grants can provide $100-$4,000
-Make time each week to seek scholarship/grant funding
-Consider doing volunteer or community service for experience, expanding your resume and  demonstrating you are dedicated to your goal(s)
-Maintain a high GPA is beneficial to securing the best scholarships
-Most scholarships typically require a 300 word essay explaining why you would be a good  candidate for their funding. In your essay, it is important to include how you plan to 'give  back' after you have attained your educational goals.

Please Note: The websites listed are a starting point in your search for scholarships. Be aware of scholarship scams. You should never have to pay money to get money. Don’t waste money on fee based scholarship matching services. It is also a good idea to create an alternate email when searching and signing up on some of these sites as you will get spam.
