Our graduation ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd at 2:30 pm at ASU Wells Fargo Arena. ASU has a strict clear bag policy for all guests. Graduates are not permitted to bring any items into the Arena.

Attention Students,  if you plan to have release time in your schedule next year, pick up a Release Time form in the front office.  Please return them to Mrs. Leichtman in the Admin Office before the last day of school.

"All ChromeBooks in need of any type of repair should be turned in to the Library immediately. Do not wait and be left without one for Finals! AND SENIORS, ALL CHROMEBOOK REPAIRS MUST BE COMPLETE AND PAID BY MAY 18TH to be cleared for graduation."

 

Seniors... please make time to stop by the bookstore to see exactly what fees need to be paid and which textbooks need to be returned in order for you to be cleared for your diploma. If you have an incomplete grade on your transcript, it needs to be addressed asap. Do not wait until the last few days of school. Thanks!


The bookstore is open everyday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. (Closed everyday from 12:30-1:30)


Students...class fees need to be paid as soon as possible. An incomplete grade will be given to all students who do not pay their class fees. Take care of this now.....don't wait until the last day of school. Check or cash in the bookstore, or your parents can pay online with a credit/debit card. Thanks!


Students...Soon your teachers will be asking you to return your textbooks. When they do, please make sure your teacher sees you return the book and checks you off their book list. Textbooks should not be returned to the bookstore or the front desk. The only exception to this are books from previous years, or books for classes you have dropped earlier in the year. Teachers will not accept a book back if you are no longer in their class, so bring those to the bookstore.

An incomplete grade is given if a textbook is not returned, so as soon as your teacher asks you to start bringing books in, do so asap so it can be cleared from your name. Thanks!!

SENIORS WANTING TO ATTEND A COLLEGE PRESENTATION MUST SIGN-UP IN THE COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER THE DAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

 

APPLICATIONS FOR MARICOPA GRANTS FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR

Priority Deadline: Thursday, May 31st

Final Deadline: Friday, August 31st

Don't miss the deadline and miss your chance to be awarded tuition for your dual enrollment classes! Funds are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis and eligibility is based on financial need. If you don't apply now and decide this fall to take a dual enrollment class, the funds may be gone.

Students must apply now to receive tuition assistance for the dual classes they plan on taking in the 2018-2019 school year. Please refer to the Tuition Assistance link at cgc.eduwebsite for more information and access to a packet which includes: an informational cover sheet and application. Please be sure to follow the directions carefully as incomplete applications cannot be processed. Forms must be taken directly to the college finance office.

Safety and Security at The Ridge.  As you know, safety and security on school campuses across the country is on everyone's mind.  What can you do to help? Here's a few things:

1.  if you are ever leaving campus through one of our gates and no one is behind you, please take the time to close it.

2. make sure you have your student ID with you at all times and be prepared to show it when asked.

3. if you notice something or someone on campus that looks suspicious in any way, report it to an adult so it can be investigated quickly

4. if and when an emergency event occurs, like an evacuation or lockdown,  listen closely to the directions given by the adults around you.

Please do not delay!! 
Cap and gown prices will increase after January 15th. 
Please make sure that you fill-out the top of the Order Form COMPLETELY.
Include Height and Weight for sizing of your gown.
***Caps and gowns are not actually shown in the packet*** 
All students wear a plain black gown and plain black cap; there are no other color options.
Line item #77 on the Order Form is the place to order the "Cap, Gown and Tassel Unit".

The senior panoramic photo will be taken Wednesday, February 7th during JCT (9:48-10:29). If your student is at EVIT during this time, but would like to be in the photo that day, they will have to miss EVIT to attend. Please note that the school does not excuse the absence for these students because the photo is NOT a mandatory event. Thus, you will need to call and excuse your EVIT student's absence.
