Honors Pre-Calculus is a dual enrollment class which combines MAT152 College Algebra and MAT 182 Plane Trigonometry for 3 credits each through Chandler /Gilbert Community College. Topics include: equations, functions (linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, polynomials, rational, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric), transformations, trigonometric equations, trigonometric identities, graphing of trigonometric functions, solutions of triangles, applications, complex numbers, polar coordinates, DeMoivre's theorem, logarithms, exponential functions, partial fraction decomposition, conic sections, sequences and series.
Financial Applications is a class where personal finance is applied through many different topics. Students will be able to budget, learn about debt management, taxes, investments, insurance, marketing strategies, and many other topics.
Hello! I am coming up on my 19th year of teaching, 18 of which has been in Gilbert Public Schools. This is my 5th year at Desert Ridge High School, and have taught everything from Algebra 1 to Honors Pre-calculus at the high school level.
I am also an adjunct teacher at CGCC, and have taught there for the last 4 years.
